I am currently using r3.out.vtk to export a 3D raster to view Paraview (several million cells).
With r3.out.vtk, you can create a 3D raster with a top and bottom, which is fine in itself. However, if i want to keep the 3D raster with a top and bottom and keep it within GRASS GIS, i would like to be able to do this r3.mapcalc. The pb with r3.mapcalc is that it can only upload 3D rasters, and it cannot use 2D rasters (DEM and bedrock in my case).
In order to this is it a matter of entering a formula in r3.mapcalc, or
can should export the VTK and reimport?
