Probably not the best place to put your question in the title, not everyone has datasets ending with _POD. You talk about "removing" datasets, do you mean delete? Your code appears not to delete datasets but adds fields to them. Suggest you amend your question with a better title and describe the problem rather than dumping a bit of code with no explanation.
