From my geoprocessing service, it generates a feature layer as the output. When I run the script first time it says job-succeeded. But in all other attempts, it says job-failed. It creates a result with a job-id number. Then I checked the server location where the result is created. There were many folders in job-id number, but there was nothing inside those folders.
For my GP service, I gave Features service as the input. Then I run the geoprocessing service through desktop ArcMap after connecting to the server and gave the same feature serves as the input. Then it works properly and generated a shapefile.
Can anyone tell me why it does not work in Server version and works in the Desktop version?
