The following is in regard to a point layer in QGIS 3.
Under Layer properties > Rendering > 'Refresh layer at interval (seconds)' I have set the interval to refresh every one second.
The point data in this layer is connected to PostgreSQL and the location updates every second in the database. With the rendering set to refresh every second, I can see the point layer move in real time on the map.
I'm often experimenting with new PostgreSQL views, and then inserting them as new layers into the project. Each time I have to manually set the refresh interval, as it doesn't seem to load with the default style I have already saved in the database.
I have successfully saved my symbology and label preferences in the style, but I cannot seem to save the rendering refresh interval into the same style.
Does anyone know why my refresh settings wont save, and how I should go about achieving this?
