I performed kriging for the total surface of the Netherlands in R. I received a raster from somebody, to create a grid file with this code:
g = as(raster("reshape.tiff"), "SpatialPixelsDataFrame")
amersfoort = crs(g)
proj4string(ufp) <- amersfoort
Coordinate system = RD New
This grid file, however, is not ideal, because it includes a large part of the North Sea, whereas I am only interested in the mainland. Also, it is not exactly clear where exactly the mainland is. See picture.
I have 2 questions:
I would like to find a different grid file (ideally something like 5x5km) that only includes the mainland of the Netherlands. Or cut of the part with the North Sea.
I would like to add the border of the Netherlands to the interpolation, to make it clear which part of the interpolation.
Where can I find these things (grid file/border shape) and how do I implement them?
