I'm running gdal 2.4.1 and I'm trying to convert a jp2 file to an mbtiles file.
but works fine converting to a geotiff, but not to mbtiles. I do have mbtiles as a supported format listed in gdal_translate --formats. however when I run

gdal_translate -of mbtiles USGS-Merged-Shaded_9.jp2 test.mbtiles

It returns

Input file size is 13103, 10785
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I'm not sure what to do.

This runs fine on my laptop running mint, but not on my centos 7 dell server.
